Raffi Merdkhanian

At the beginning of his career, Raffi worked as a community and long-term care clinical pharmacist in Vancouver. After several years in that field, he moved to Quebec in 1999 to join the pharmaceutical industry and, in 2002, began his career at Servier as head of pharmaco-vigilance and medical information. A few years later, Raffi also became the point of reference for the code of ethical practices and promotional material compliance.
In 2013, he transitioned to the Market Access department as manager private payers and later took on the public payer role for Ontario. He has been Head of Market Access since January 2023, a position in which he works with an exceptional team that focuses on providing access to new, innovative treatments to patients.
