United by Unique, the new three-year World Cancer Day theme

Each year, nearly 10 million people die from cancer, the second-leading cause of death worldwide. Each day in Canada, it’s estimated that 655 people will be diagnosed with cancer and 238 people will die from the disease¹. This year, on World Cancer Day, Servier Canada is coming together with the international cancer community to rewrite the future of cancer care. The United by Unique campaign recognizes that every cancer experience is unique and it will take all of us, united, to see the person before the patient.
